b°tong aka Chris Sigdell is former member
of NID, German/Swiss experimental electronica
collective. During their 13 year activity they played
numerous gigs and released 17 albums
(mainly limited editions). In 2005 he released
his first album as b°tong - untitled cd on
verato project label. It was followed by three
albums and several compilations. Some of his
works were recently re-released by Clinical Archives:
'wider der elektronik schlecht gewissen'
and 'microsleep'. Other side of b°tong is live jams
based on natural sound sources (2008 tour dates).
New album 'structures' was recorded between
2005/2006. Field recordings, sound processing, ambien.
